Academic Advising

Academic advisors provide students with support services essential to college and career success. Services include academic planning, class schedule building, Fresh Start and third attempt assistance, transfer planning and career planning.

To meet students’ needs as quickly as possible, the Advising office exclusively offers drop-in services. Students are able to visit campus can meet with an advisor in-person. Students are seen in the order they sign in; individuals signed in by 2 p.m. are guaranteed to see an advisor that day. Sign-ins after 2 p.m. will be honored based upon advisor availability.

Students can also send questions to advising@sc4.edu; a phone number should be included with the inquiry. An advisor will respond with answers or reach out via phone within one business day.
