BUS 258 - Human Resources Management This course focuses on the fundamentals of human resource management (HRM). Major areas of focus are on understanding HRM, legal and ethical issues in HRM, staffing, training and development, high performance work systems and labor relations. Students will perform many tasks in a team environment including case analyses and an in-depth interview project. Through the completion of the interview project, students will have an opportunity to complete the staffing process from both sides of the interview table as an interviewer and as an applicant. Prerequisite(s): BUS 155 3 credits = 3 lecture
