CIS 213 - Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician This course prepares students for an entry-level network certification for the Cisco track. This course covers networking fundamentals, WAN technologies, basic security and wireless concepts, routing and switching fundamentals, and configuring simple networks. A student with a Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification will be able to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. Offered fall semester only. Prerequisite(s): CIS 120 4 credits = 4 lecture /laboratory
