ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE (Transfer Program)

The Associate in Science degree is a transfer degree program intended for students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree with a major in biology, chemistry, physical science, physics, engineering, math, computer science, pre-health professional degrees and more.

Overview of degree (see below for specific courses to be completed with a grade of “C” or better):

Communication: ENG 101 or ENG 100 and ENG 102
Humanities: Two courses from two disciplines
Mathematics: MTH 1120 or higher
Science: Two courses, including one laboratory experience, from two disciplines
Social Science: Two courses from two disciplines
Additional Requirements: Two courses from specified courses in math, science or technology

Electives: College-level courses (100 level or higher) to reach the minimum 60 credits

Degree Requirements:

Students need to complete a minimum of 60 credits with an overall GPA of 2.0 or better to earn this degree.

Communication

Complete ENG 100 or ENG 101 and ENG 102 with a grade of ‘C’ or better:

ENG 100 - English Composition I with Basic Writing Skills 3 credits,
OR
