GD 151 - Digital Photography This course introduces students to the fundamentals of photography as both an art form and a communication tool. Students will gain hands-on experience with digital cameras, learning key technical aspects such as apertures, shutter speeds, ISO settings, and lighting techniques. Emphasis is placed on composition, exposure control, and image editing using raster-based software. Students enhance their photographs through color correction, retouching, and compositing techniques. Prerequisite(s): None 3 credits plus 3 contact hours = 2 lecture, 4 laboratory
