CERTIFICATE
This program is for individuals who wish to upgrade their job readiness skills, those who are in the apprentice program, and those who want to upgrade their understanding of engineering technology careers. The purpose for this certificate is to allow the student to receive a basic understanding of any combination of the following: Electronics, Mechatronics, Precision Machining, Robotics, Engineering Graphics, Fabrication and Design, Renewable and Alternative Energy, Math and Computer Programming. The certificate requires at least 30 credit hours consisting of any courses listed in any of the Engineering Technology two year programs, including the listed CIS and MTH courses.

- ETE - Any Engineering Technology - Electronics Courses
- ETA - Any Engineering Technology - Renewable & Alternative Energy Courses
- ETM - Any Engineering Technology - Mechatronics Courses
- ETG - Any Engineering Technology - Engineering Graphics/CAD Courses
- ETW - Any Engineering Technology - Welding and Fabricating Courses
- ETP - Any Engineering Technology - Precision Machining Courses
- CIS - Any CIS Programming Courses (CIS 120 , CIS 150 , CIS 160 , CIS 260 , CIS 264 , CIS 275 )
- MTH - Any Math Courses 110 or higher
Total Credit Hours/Total Contact Hours = 30/30+
Note: Students must meet prerequisite requirements for all chosen courses. Students must complete 30 credits for certificate completion. These thirty (30) credits can be a combination of 18-30 from Engineering Technology Courses or 12 or less credits from the CIS/MTH courses with the remaining credits coming from the Engineering Technology courses. |
