AST 105 - Astronomy of the Stars This course is an introduction to the astronomy of the stars, including the sun and associated important stars and constellations. The course will include discussions of the development of astronomy from ancient times to recent discoveries and hands-on experience with the types of mathematical exercises and observations essential to a grasp of the fundamental principles of stellar astronomy. The laboratory for this course is AST 106 - Astronomy, Laboratory Prerequisite(s): None 3 credits = 3 lecture
