ETM 130 - Programmable Logic Controllers (Formerly IA 102). This course introduces students to programmable logic controllers (PLCs). It focuses on the underlying principles of how PLCs work and provides students with the knowledge and “hands-on” training to install, program, modify, interface, troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems. Programming is done both on-and off-line. No previous knowledge of PLC systems or programming is required. This course is the same as AET 102. Prerequisite(s): ETM 110 or ETE 110 and ETE 115 3 credits , plus 3 contact hours = 2 lecture , 4 laboratory CL
