GEO 210 - Introduction To Geographic Information Systems (GIS) An overview introducing the basic concepts, techniques and applications of geographic information systems (GIS). The course includes the basic fundamentals of map reading and map interpretation and enables students to create spatial data files using current GIS software and to manipulate and analyze data. Prerequisite(s): CIS 115 3 credits , plus 1 contact hour = 2 lecture , 2 laboratory
