MA 214 - Critical Thinking in Medical Assisting This course is designed to provide opportunities for students to integrate knowledge from their core and concentration courses, to gain insight into the meanings of professionalism and professional practice, and to reflect on medical assisting as a profession. Topics will include affective competencies for the core curriculum and Certified Medical Assistant Exam review, test taking skills, interviewing skills, and job-search techniques. Prerequisite(s): MA 115 and MA 210 Corequisite(s): MA 212 3 credits = 3 lecture
