ADN 201 - Essentials of Adult Nursing Care This course is an introduction to nursing as a profession for qualified health care providers and LPNs. The nursing process is introduced as it relates to nursing practice, and as applied to the adult client in a structured environment. The role of the student nurse as provider of direct care, communicator, teacher, manager and member of the profession is emphasized. Offered winter semester only. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Transition ADN Program 5.5 credits = 5.5 lecture
