ADN 201L - Essentials of Adult Nursing Care - Clinical Skills The clinical component introduces the student to the principles and practice of clinical nursing skills using nursing process in the laboratory and clinical setting. The clinical component of this course emphasizes the role of the transition student as direct care provider, communicator, teacher, and as a member of the nursing profession. Offered winter semester only. Prerequisite(s): Admission Transition ADN Program 4.7 credits plus 9.3 contact hours = 14 laboratory
