PHY 221 - Mechanics, Heat and Sound

The course includes the study of static electricity, circuit theory, magnetism, radiation, geometric optics, interference, spectra, radioactivity, and nuclear structure.
Prerequisite(s): MTH 1140 or higher, or permission of instructor. Past high school or college-level physics course experience is recommended. MTH 2150 is a recommended corequisite, but is not required.
