CERTIFICATE

This program is for individuals who wish to upgrade their job readiness skills, those who are in the apprentice program, and those who want to upgrade their understanding of engineering technology careers. The certificate requires at least 30 credit hours consisting of any courses listed in any of the Engineering Technology two year programs including the listed CIS and MTH courses.

Suggested Course Sequence

ETE - Any Engineering Technology - Electronics Courses
ETG - Any Engineering Technology - Engineering Graphics/CAD Courses
ETM - Any Engineering Technology - Mechatronics Courses
ETP - Any Engineering Technology - Precision Machining Courses
ETW - Any Engineering Technology - Welding and Fabricating Courses
CIS - Any CIS Programming Courses (CIS 120 , CIS 160 , CIS 260 )
MTH - Any Math Courses 1010, 1011 or 1020 or higher

30 Total Credit Hours/30+ Total Contact Hours

NOTE: Students must meet prerequisite requirements for all chosen courses. Students must complete 30 credits for certificate completion. These thirty (30) credits can be a combination of 18-30 from Engineering Technology Courses and may include 12 or less credits from the listed CIS/MTH courses.
