ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED ARTS AND SCIENCE DEGREE
The Associate of Applied Arts and Science degree in Allied Health is a degree program that combines occupation-specific courses from an accredited training facility with general education courses and specific support courses offered through St. Clair County Community College.
Radiologic Technologists must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program and hold a national registry certificate.
Paramedics must be a graduate of an accredited paramedic program and hold a paramedic state license.
Students must complete an additional 35 credits beyond their training program for this degree; a minimum of 18 credits must be completed at SC4.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES/OBJECTIVES:
When students complete this program, they will be able to:
- integrate college level competencies into their professional practice in allied health
- apply writing and oral communication skills into their professional practice in allied health
- incorporate psychosocial aspects of care in their professional practice in allied health.
