Skill Set

The field of visual design increasingly demands multidisciplinary software tools across various industries. The Multimedia Design Skill Set provides foundational training in digital media for students interested in video production, digital illustration, animation, game design, and web design. This program offers coursework that supports transfer opportunities to other institutions while equipping students with entry-level industry skills.

 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES/OBJECTIVES:

When students complete this program, they will be able to:

  1. develop a professional digital portfolio that demonstrates proficiency across various graphic art mediums.
  2. create and refine high-quality vector and raster-based graphics using industry-standard design software.
  3. write, structure, and style web content using HTML and CSS, building a foundation in web design principles.
  4. implement industry-standard workflows and best practices in multimedia projects, showcasing creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities.
